The Observatory 20 Year Old Whisky is a Single Grain aged 100% Bourbon cask that leaves a unique and full-bodied grain on the palate.
The Observatory whisky was made at the Macduff Distillery. The Speyside Distillery is in the shadow of the Macduff Lighthouse, one of many lighthouses along the 16,500 kilometers of the Scottish coastline. For 20 years, it’s matured into a full single grain there.
20 year old single grain whisky is perfectly balanced. It reveals sweet notes of vanilla and butterscotch, combined with fruity hints of ripe summer berries with lemon zest.
Tasting Notes
Nose: ripe summer berries and lemon zest.
Palate: creamy vanilla and buttery caramel.
Finish: long and delicate.
HOW TO DRINK
We recommend drinking the Observatory 20Y neat or with a drop of water to fully enjoy the taste.
If you prefer cocktails, our 20Y is best suited for timeless classics such as an Old Fashioned or Rob Roy.
